Project Remember

Mark Fisher has worked in the HIV/AIDS field since 1992, developing Information Technology solutions initially in the area of laboratory testing. Mark developed a database for the National Serological Reference Laboratory in Australia for HIV and HCV testing and surveillance. In 1995 Mark migrated to Canada and developed a similar database for the Provincial Public Health Laboratory. This performed all of the HIV testing in Ontario and expanded to other areas of serological testing. Mark has been involved with the OHTN since 1999 in an ex-officio capacity. In 2005 Mark joined the OHTN as the Director of Information Technology and has been involved in such initiatives as providing Clinical Management Systems to HIV Primary Care Doctors, a Technology Refresh for AIDS Service Organizations (ASO's), technological infrastructure for the OHTN including the COHORT study, and supporting our partners with their technology requirements. Current projects include OCHART, OCASE and ASO411.
